LaVergne Baseball & Softball is saddened by the news of the sudden passing of Tim Kirsch on Saturday February 6, 2010.

Tim was such an integral part of our league as one of our main umpires, and was well known to the board, coaches, parents, & players alike.

We ask that you keep his wife, Trish, & son, Zach, who is also an umpire & former player in the league, in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.  He will be greatly missed by everyone.

SPRING 2010 IN-PERSON REGISTRATION

In-Person Registration will be held at the following dates & times at the Pee Wee Complex Pressbox at Veterans Memorial Park.

Saturday February 13 & 20: 12-2PM

Saturday February 27: 12-4PM

IMPORTANT NOTE!  All players will be required to furnish a birth certificate as proof of age prior to opening day.

All registrants who have not paid a $35 buyout fee either during online or in-person registration will be required to participate in a fundraiser.  If choosing the buyout option online, be sure to check the box at the bottom of the registration page to apply the money to your registration.

REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IN FULL UP UNTIL UNIFORMS ARE ORDERED AT WHICH TIME NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

Save time when you sign up in-person by printing out the Registration & Parent Code Of Ethics forms below and have them filled out before you come to the pressbox!  Please fill out one set of documents for each child registering.

BREA PERRY FAMILY FUND

Brea Perry, 3 year old little sister to Sierra (CeCe) Oakley that played for the 10USB Lil' Devils and the 10USB All - Star team this past Spring season, fell into a swimming pool during a pool party on Sunday July 19.  She was found not breathing and nonresponsive.  She was sent to Vanderbilt Pediatrics ICU.  Bree started breathing on her own after 48 hours and was able to come off the ventilator.  She was also able to go into a regular room.  Bree has improved enough to be sent to Sheppards Rehabilatation Center in Atlanta; but she still has a long way to go and will need a lot of medical care for an undetermined amount of time.

LaVergne Baseball & Softball has always been known for their generosity as we are all one big family, and try to help out others in our league.  With this in mind, a fund has been set up at Regions Bank which will assist the family with medical bills & other expenses.  Donations can be made at ANY Regions Bank location by telling them you would like to make a donation to the The Brea Perry Family Fund.
